A glance at any fashion magazine, TV show, or movie proves that eyeglasses are a fashion trend.
Kristin Bonfield, Accessories Product Manager at LensCrafters, said: "With so many people wearing glasses, people are starting to use glasses as an accessory to match their personal style,"
The secret to always looking good, says Bonfield, is good care habits that keep your eyeglasses looking good.
1.Keep your glasses shiny.
There is nothing that spoils the appearance like a dirty lenses. Put a spray bottle of professional eyeglass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth in your wallet, car, or desk drawer to make it easy.
2.Use case.
If you need to remove your glasses, store them in their carrying case. Stuffing them in a pocket or purse is an invitation to scratch.
3.High-tech lens care.
Today's lenses are thinner, made of lighter materials, and often have anti-glare coatings or other benefits. Do not damage them by using household cleaners. Even today's concentrated or "high strength" dish soaps can damage the coating over time. Glass cleaner is formulated to safely remove fingerprints, cosmetics, dirt, and grime.
4.Wear goggles for do-it-yourself projects.
Remove paint splashes by harsh rubbing or chemicals that can easily damage lenses. Sawdust and plaster dust can scratch or scale during cleaning.
5.Keep the shirt on.
According to one study, 52% of people clean their glasses with their clothes. Dust and particles in clothing can scratch the lens. Even dry paper products can crush dust and lint into the lens. Disposable wet wipes make keeping your world shimmering easy.
6.Make time for regular eye exams.
Nothing spoils your look like squinting!
